The expertise of our in-house Registered Migration Agents will ensure the preparation of an efficient and comprehensive visa application, thus maximising the likelihood of a successful outcome whilst minimising time and effort expended by the employer. Our Migration Team consists of 4 Migration Professionals, with combined backgrounds from Law, Human Resources, IT and Commerce. We are based in Melbourne with the flexibility to visit client sites around Australia.

We specialise in employment visa solutions for a range of small, medium and large companies, both national and global, within the Telecommunications, IT, Engineering, Health and Manufacturing industries. We ensure current and timely migration law advice, including the monitoring of changes in immigration law, policy and procedure. Australian Migration requirements change regularly and we will keep you up-to-date with these changes and your obligations, through client meetings, seminars and monthly newsletters.

ICC’s Registered Migration Agents understand the complexities, for both the employer and employee, in migrating to Australia. That is why each Registered Migration Agent delivers a personalised, professional service in assisting with a comfortable and positive transition to Australia.

The focus of ICC’s Migration Team is on Employer Sponsored visas. Key areas include:

  • Temporary Business visas
    These visas enable employees to come to Australia for meetings, conferences, business negotiations and exploratory visits.
  • Work visas
    Employers can sponsor skilled workers under a Standard Business Sponsorship Agreement. This visa is for employees that are required in Australia for full-time work over a period of time or for work of a recurring nature.
  • Employer Nomination Scheme (Permanent Residence)
    Employers can nominate their skilled employees for Australian Permanent Residence. Australian Permanent Residence allows employees to live, work and/or study in Australia.
  • Occupational Trainee visas
    Employers can sponsor graduates/trainees/interns for a visa that allows them to complete workplace-based training programs in Australia.
  • Standard Business Sponsorship Agreements
  • Monitoring and Compliance of Sponsors

Advice and assistance is also available in other migration areas including:

  • General Skilled Migration
    This visa is for applicants who are not sponsored by an employer and who have skills in particular occupations that are considered in demand in Australia. Applicants must be between 18 – 45 years of age, with competent English language ability, recent skilled work experience or a recently completed eligible Australian qualification.
  • Partner/Spouse visas
    This visa is for foreigners wanting to reside with their Australian Partner/Spouse.
  • Parent visas
    This visa is for parents of Australian Permanent Residents or Citizens who want to reside in Australia.
  • Student and Student Guardian visas
    This visa is for students who want to study in an Australian educational institution and if applicable, for their Parent/Guardian that accompanies them.
  • Resident Return visas
    Applicants can extend their Australian Permanent Residence Visas by applying for this visa.

Scope of Services

ICC’s Migration Team provides:

  • Current and timely migration law advice, including the monitoring of changes in immigration law, policy and procedure
  • Risk assessments of migration options according to your circumstances
  • Assistance with completion of relevant forms and collation of supporting documentation and a thorough review of the application prior to lodgement
  • Preparation of a submission letter to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) together with your visa application and supporting documentation demonstrating compliance with all legislative requirements
  • Liaison with DIAC case officers and other authorities regarding the processing of the visa application
  • Informing you of the result of the visa application
  • Immigration advice as required.
